A most important part of the synod process, perhaps the most important, is the listening exercise. We would like to form parish teams that would be able to
participate in a training and then proceed to form part of the team that would dedicate itself to gathering the voice of our community. Those selected should
have the following characteristics:
- Are at home in their Catholic Faith
- Are prayerful and reflective
- Have strong interpersonal skills
- Have effective communication skills
- Are willing participants in the synodal process
- Are able to maintain a “big picture” view without injecting their personal agenda
- Can focus a conversation
- Can connect participants with each other without becoming the center of the conversation
There will be three initial training sessions: November 30th, December 1st, and December 2nd from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Because of the short notice, we are asking all those interested to go ahead and register for the training. Though the meetings are scheduled according to a vicariate, they are open to all, and you may register for whatever session is most convenient. Please use the links below to register:
